Hefron, Mary A. "Auntie Sis", 79, of Lexington, formerly of Arlington, passed away on May 29, 2012. Beloved daughter of the late J. Frank and Mary (McCarthy) Hefron. Dear sister of the late Joseph and his wife Edna of Newburyport, Grace Taggart and her husband Robert of Lexington, Rita Myers of Framingham, Louise Heffernan and her husband Peter of Arlington, and Edward and his wife Elizabeth of Hoffman Estates, IL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Regis College; Registrar of Suffolk University; Parish Council and CCD Teacher at St. Brigid Church; Avid Boston College Sports Fan. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Saturday June 2 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
