Modoono, Mary Ann (Hannigan) of Lexington, October 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Modoono. Mother of Ann Marie Modoono of Framingham, David Modoono of Methuen, Richard A. Modoono and his wife Denise of Billerica, and the late Robert A. Modoono Jr. and Joann D. Modoono. Sister of Diane Moran of Brockton, Patricia Hannigan of Wilmington, DE, and the late Dorothy Hannigan, Joseph Hannigan, and Alice O'Regan. Grandmother of Robert, Jillian, Marisa, Joseph, Patrick, Cassandra, and the late Danica. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann received her Masters in Nursing from Boston University in 1974 and was a Nursing Instructor at the Somerville Hospital School of Nursing for 30 years. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday October 19 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
