Mary "Linda" Roddy, 79, of Winchester, passed away on February 21, 2023 at the Branches of Marlboro. Originally from Lexington, Linda graduated from Lexington High School and later from the Boston School of Dental Nursing.  She worked as a dental assistant until becoming a full time homemaker when her daughter was born.  She was very active in the church and cooked meals for the Women's Lunch Place in Boston and delivered meals for Meals on Wheels for a short time.  For holiday parties people always requested her brownies and she was happy to oblige.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kristina Roddy of Maynard, her close cousins that she considered siblings, the late Robert Jackson and his wife Diane Jackson of Boca Raton FL, Jane Previte of Northborough, Patricia Costa of Lexington, John Jackson and his wife Kathleen of Weymouth and Marjorie Guthrie and her husband Charles of Lexington.  Also, survived by other cousins and extended family.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Monday February 27 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3pm to 5pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
