Matilda Tassone's Obituary
Tassone, Matilda (Carella) passed away peacefully on November 29, 2016 at age 92.
She was born in Grotteria, Italy in 1924. She came to the USA through Ellis Island with her family in 1958.
Matilda is survived by her children, Marie Oppedisano,
Lee Densmore and her husband Roger, Anna Gould, and Joseph Tassone;
her grandchildren; Frank Oppedisano, Dianne Busa, Roger Densmore, Lanie Estes, Laurie Sukoff, Phillip Tassone, Stephen Tassone, and Victoria Tassone. Also her great grandchildren; Thomas Busa, Gabriella Busa, Amanda Busa,
Cassandra Estes, Markie Estes, Jacob Sukoff, and Ava Sukoff and her brothers Vincent Carella & his wife
Cathy, Joseph Carella & his wife Michelina & Frank Carella (deceased) and wife Natalie and niece and nephews, Maria Carella, Thomas Carella, and Linda Carella. Visiting hours will be held at The Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington, MA on Friday December 2, 2016 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Saint Brigid's Church at 2001 Mass Ave, Lexington, Ma on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10 am. Interment at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford Street, Lexington Ma. In lieu of flowers, in her memory donations can be made to Camp Sunshine, 35 Acadia Road, Casco, Me 04015.
