Chu, Ming Yu Christine of Sudbury, MA, formerly of Brookline, passed away in her home on May 19th, 52 years young, after a courageous struggle with ALS. She is survived by her husband Patrick S. von Huene and two daughters Mina and Klara von Huene, her sister Ling Cannon and husband Dave of Lexington, her sister Cindy Porter and husband Cameron of Malden, and her mother Chi Jean Chu (Hsiung) of Lexington. She held a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from UMass Amherst and a Master of Science degree from New England College. She worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain Boston as an IT specialist. Viewing hours will be held at Douglass Funeral Home (51 Worthen Road, Lexington MA) on Friday June 3rd from 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be private.
