Nancy Gail Allen (Missel) of Lexington, MA passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2022, age 69. Beloved wife of Walter J. Allen. Loving mother of Matthew Allen of New Haven, CT, and Brian Allen of Somerville. Devoted sister of Helene Berman of Wrentham and the late Joanne Missel. She is also survived by 2 nieces, Jana and Sandra, and by 1 nephew, Jonathan.

Nancy is loved by many for her kindness, devotion to family, and caring for others. She lived a full and productive life with few regrets, and was thankful for and appreciative of her loving family and friends. Particularly fond memories were spending her childhood summers at Nantasket Beach, annual summer vacations to the White Mountains, consistent Saturday lunches with family, and celebrating seemingly every birthday and anniversary with family and extended family in New Hampshire.  Lately, you could often find Nancy tending to the garden, on long phone calls with friends and family, or active in the local arts & crafts community.  While she will be dearly missed, she will be frequently in the thoughts of those who knew, appreciated and cherished her.

Services are private with interment at the Spofford Village Cemetery in Spofford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to NAMI at www.nami.org in honor of her caring for others.
