Bettencourt, Nancy L. "Nan" of Peterborough, NH, Sept. 29, 2021. Beloved wife of Ronald (Ron) G. Bettencourt. Loving mother of Chip Bettencourt and his wife Denise of Brookline, NH, and Laurie Ford and her husband Wayne of Shirley, MA.  Devoted sister of Donald Legro and his wife Becky of York, ME. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jeanne, Debra, and Christine, and by 1 great grandchild, Bella.

Nan is a Past Worthy Advisor of the Lexington Rainbow Assembly as well as a member of the Pilgrim Chapter of Eastern Star in Nashua, NH.  She earned a BA in history at Rivier College, while bringing up two young children. She taught for a year and then became an entrepreneur.  Nan owned and ran a pro shop, snack bar and two beautiful gift shops.

A Celebration of Nan's life will be held on Big Barndoor Island in Alton, NH in the Spring.
