On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Newzeena Antony, loving wife, mother of three children, aunt and sister passed away at the age of 56 after a 6 year battle with breast cancer. Newzeena was born in July 1963 in Chennai, India to George Koyikara and Rose George. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Stella Maris College in India. In 1995, she married Antony Satyadas. They raised two sons, Ashvin and Vikas, and one daughter, Diya.

Newzeena did not lose her battle to cancer. She won it by not letting the illness define her. She didn't let it deter her from building and maintaining loving relationships with people. She didn't let it stop her from traveling across the world to be present for the many milestones of her loved ones. She enjoyed her food cravings and led a normal life. She spent her lifetime for others...

Newzeena was preceded in her death by her father George, mother Rose and son Vikas. She is survived by her husband Antony, her two children Ashvin and Diya, her brother George, sisters Jeena, Sayona and Sareena, sisters-in-law Tina, Jessy, Catherine, Nabeela, Tara, brothers-in-law Cherian, Philip and Percy, Joseph, Thomas, Deshane and Sabu and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
