RYAN, Nora A. (O'Brien) Of Watertown, formerly of Lexington, March 27, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Ryan. Loving mother of Joseph G. and his significant other Bern'Nadette Knight of Troy, VA and Elaine F. Bowe and her husband Timothy of Boston. Cherished grandmother of Becca Bowe of Brookline. Born and raised in Somerville, Nora entered the religious order of Dominican Nuns and took the name Mariannella. After leaving the order, Nora went to work for N.E. Telephone Co. for many years. She married her late husband Robert in 1955 and they made their home in Lexington for over 50 years. Visiting hours will be held at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, on Friday, March 31 from 8:30 a.m.-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
