Norman deB. Jacobs
(February 24, 1925 – December 26, 2012)

Norman Jacobs of Lincoln, Massachusetts (formerly of Lexington), passed away on December 26, 2012 at Rivercrest in Concord, Massachusetts, following a period of declining health. He was 87 years old. Born in Berlin, NH, he was the son of Norman Jacobs and Lena (Pat) deBanville Jacobs.

Following graduation from Gould Academy, Norman received a B.S. from the University of New Mexico and attended Columbia Graduate School of Business Administration. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean conflict.

Norman's career focused on marketing research and he worked for New York advertising agencies, Ludlow Corporation, W.R. Grace and Arthur D. Little. He taught marketing classes for Harbridge House management consultants. His main interests were skiing, tennis, sailing, traditional jazz and his lakeside home in Francestown, NH.

Norman is survived by his wife Caroline, mother-in-law Nancy Stirling, sister and brother-in-law Clare and Mick McKinley, sister-in-law Dot Jacobs, nieces Kathy, Debbi, Linda, Martha, Sarah, Catherine, Lucy and Alison, and 12 great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother, John.

A memorial service will be held on March 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Follen Community Church in Lexington, Massachusetts.
