Anderson, Dr. Norwood R. "Woody" of Burlington, MA, formerly of Lexington, MA and Brookfield, WI, Nov. 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Linda (Schultz) Anderson. Loving father of Bjorn Anderson and his wife Abby of Dover, NH, Lars Anderson and his wife Kelly of Kodiak, AK, and Erika Cronin and her husband Richie of Cork, Ireland. Devoted brother of Norlene Kemp and her husband Mike of Libertyville, IL, and Judi Koopmans and her husband Paul of Auburn, CA. Devoted brother-in-law of David Schultz and his wife Esther of Burlington, MA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Soren, Nils, Lars, Ishyta, Bengt, Hannah, Annika, Linnea, Gabriella, Judah, Evangeline, and Lachteen, and by many nieces and nephews.

Woody was a lover of God, his family, and his many patients. He practiced medical oncology first in Lexington, MA; then Boston, MA; and later Milwaukee, WI. He was also deeply involved in Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA, where he taught numerous adult Biblical education classes. When his kids were growing up, he loved leading them on creative Saturday adventures, planning epic family vacations, and entertaining them with imaginative tales. Later he became the beloved teller of tales for his grandchildren. He also loved reading and hiking, especially to waterfalls.

There will be visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington Friday from 4pm to 7pm and a Memorial Service followed by a reception will be held Saturday, November 20 ^th at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd., Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to both.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. There will be a private family interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington, MA.
