Barnes, Patricia A. of Lexington died on April 28, 2026. Born to the late William A. and Mary A. Barnes in 1932, Pat lived a long life of quiet strength and deep devotion to family and friends, her favorite operas, and the Boston Red Sox.

After graduation from St. Joseph High School in Somerville, Pat worked at the Boston Stock Exchange and then as a legal secretary with patent attorneys before retiring in 2002.

Pat is predeceased by her brother, Paul.  She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ellen Barnes of Quincy and Joanne Bavaro of Plymouth, and her sister-in-law, Cynthia Barnes of Burlington, her nieces, Lesa Whitehead, Mary Ellen Bavaro, Michelle White, and Krista Condon and ten grandnieces and nephews.

A Mass for Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Sacred Heart Church, 16 Follen Road, Lexington, MA, at 11:00 am. Visitation at the Church prior to the Mass from 9:00 to 10:45 am.  Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.
