Fresina, Patricia L. (Pat) 86 of Burlington formerly of Lexington passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is survived by John M. Fresina, her loving husband of 62 years, her grateful children, Susan Higdon of Bedford, Lori Fresina and wife Sara of Needham, Michael Fresina of Charlotte, NC, Julie Fresina and partner Kisha of Albany, NY and three grandchildren Jake and Brady Orozco-Herman and Mary Fresina. Sisters Edith Sullivan of Westfield, Jane DeGange (Jack) of Lebanon, NH, Claire Stearns (Waring) of Portland, ME, brother Peter Lysaght (Doris) of Brookline, sisters-in-law Anne Lysaght of Needham, Virginia Fresina of East Bridgewater, brother-in-law William Farrington of Plymouth, Rose Dould of Sandwich and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was pre-deceased by Henry (Hank) Lysaght, Catherine Farrington, Paul Lysaght, Richard Sullivan, Elizabeth Fresina, Francis Fresina, Mario Fresina, Grace McElroy, Florence Allen, Rocco Frisina, John P. Fresina, and Mary Wright.

Pat was born in Boston to the late Henry J. and Edith N. Lysaght. She was raised on Pine Point in Scarborough, ME and was a graduate of Scarborough High School, Bates College, and Boston University. Pat was a special education teacher and taught at Perkins School for the Blind and Schools for Children. She volunteered for many projects in Lexington.

Known for her sassy Irish wit and for making people feel welcome in her home, Pat will be dearly missed.

Calling hours will be at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4-7pm. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the American Heart Association and/or Care Dimensions Hospice.
