Burns, Patrick Ryan, of Lexington, May 6, 2018. Dearly-loved son of Robert F. Burns and Kristi (Roberts) Burns. Devoted brother of Matthew T. Burns of Collegeville, PA, Timothy J. Burns of Pittsburgh, PA, and the late Robert "Robbie" Burns. Patrick was a graduate of Lexington High School, class of 2012 and of New York University (NYU), class of 2016, where he played varsity basketball.

Patrick had the perfect blend of joy, friendliness, faithfulness and fun – combined with a competitive drive to win. He was a delight to be with and will be sorely missed by family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Thursday May 10 at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd., Lexington at 4pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Charlotte, North Carolina.
