PHELAN, Paul A. Sr., Born in Somerville, MA, formerly of Lexington, residing on Cape Cod, Nov. 8, 2010. Husband of Mary J. (Quintavalla) Phelan. Father of Timothy Phelan and his wife Jean of Dunstable, Thomas Phelan & his wife Irene of Maynard, Paul Phelan Jr. and his wife Tricia of Chelmsford, Robert Phelan and his wife Janice of Lexington, Jean Janetos & her husband Rollins of Rollinsford, NH, and William Phelan and his wife Linda of Billerica. Brother of Marie McManus of Dedham, Richard Phelan of Reading, Michael Phelan of Arlington, and Lillian Calicchio of Plantation, FL. Paul is also survived by 20 grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Somerville High School; WWII U.S. Army Veteran; Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars; After serving in WWII attended Bentley College; Enjoyed a long successful career as a District Manager for John Hancock Life Insurance Company; Loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all who loved him. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd LEXINGTON at 10am. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
