Holmes, Peter A. of Arlington, April 15, 2017. Peter was born in Petersborough, NH and grew up in Arlington,MA.  He lived in California 14 years and returned to live out his life in Arlington. He was a private pilot and owned 2 planes that he often flew out of Hanscom Field in Bedford. He was married to Patricia who was a Stewardess for Eastern Airlines. Peter was a Partner in Eastern Contracting here in Massachusetts and worked for Perini Corporation in California and once owned an Airline Leasing company named Polaris with the prominent lawyer F. Lee Bailey. In his retirement years Peter was employed as a bus driver for C&W Transportation of Lexington. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday April 21 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
