Peter M. Walsh (October 31, 1939 - July 10, 2021) a life-long resident of Lexington MA, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Peter is survived by his beloved wife Sandra (Antonelli) of 63 years and three daughters Brenda (Walsh) Caliri and late husband Mark of Woburn, Carolyn (Walsh) and her husband Chris DiSilva of Maynard and Kristine Walsh of Lexington. He leaves behind six grandchildren, Leanne and husband John of Woburn, Allison and husband Drew of Maynard, Christopher and wife Meredith of Harvard, Dominique and husband Craig of Maynard, Timothy & Kassandra of Nashua and Stow and two great granddaughters Mia & Olivia. Peter was the son of late Tom and Molly ( Canavan) Walsh of Lexington, his five siblings the late John Walsh Sr. and wife Betty (Marlboro), Mary (Walsh) Ahern and late husband Alan of Arlington, the late Nancy (Walsh) Skinner of Nashua, Tom Walsh and wife Maureen of Wilmington, Peggy (Walsh) and husband Bob Davison of Cape Cod and brother-in-law Roy Antonelli and wife Trudy of Sudbury. He's survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends. Peter was the proud member/ retiree of Local 17 Sheet Metal Workers of Boston. Peter had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand. His passion was tinkering around with old cars. He enjoyed visiting many car shows over the years as his favorite was the Tyrods. He enjoyed traveling around the country on his BMW motorcycle with friends. Peter spent his retired days socializing with friends at the E. Lexington Dunkin Donuts known as the "hen house" clucking away. Above all else, he loved spending time with his beautiful family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Visiting hours will be Monday, July 12th at Douglass Funeral home in Lexington from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 13th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church in Lexington (procession from the funeral home at 9am). Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
