Matz, Phoebe (Land) of Lexington and Moultonborough New Hampshire, formerly of Barrington Rhode Island, Weston and Wellesley Hills died on March 5 ^th , 2014 at age 96. She was born and raised in Hamburg Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John N. Land and Laura (Altenderfer) Land. She was the wife of her high school sweetheart, the late J. Edwin Matz for 42 years, mother of the late John E. Matz Jr and sister of the late Sarah Land Prakken. She is survived by her daughter Susan E. Matz of Natick, her grandson John E. Matz III and his wife Kim of Natick, her great-granddaughter Juliana Rose Matz of Natick. Also many nieces and nephews and one cousin. A memorial service will be held at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church in the Wallace Chapel on Monday March 24 ^th at 10 am. Donations in her memory may be made to the Charity of your choice.
