Blackwell, Phyllis (Freese), a longtime Lexington resident, November 1, 2018, age 93. Wife of the late Francis X. Blackwell. She was the daughter of the late Esther O. (Flood) and Arthur L. Freese, formerly of Acton. She leaves behind three children, Richard F. and his wife Lorraine of Townsend, Stephen A. of Acton, and Linda J. of Woburn and her boyfriend Thomas Albanese. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday November 3 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 10am. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 9am to 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
