KILEY, Regina (O'Gorman) Of Acton, July 7. Wife of the late J. Walter Kiley. Mother of Maureen Rubel Kelly and her husband Robert of Wareham; Nancy Kelly of Billerica; John Kiley and his wife Rosanne of Bethel, CT; Patrice Kiley of Virginia Beach, VA; and Jeffrey Kiley of New York, NY. Regina will be missed by 13 grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her sister Virginia Brennan of Fullerton, CA and predeceased by her brothers Joseph and John O'Gorman. She also left behind many nieces and nephews. Regina was born in Cambridge, MA and spent her early childhood there. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1941. Her fiance was killed in WW2, prompting her to join the Marine Corps, Women's Reserve. She attended Boston University, College of General Education. She was the first woman named "Man of the Year" and was elected permanent president of her class in 1948. She remained active in alumni affairs. Regina married Walter in 1951 and settled in Lexington. She was active in volunteer work as well as many social clubs including Lexington Ski Club and Lexington Golf Club. She founded Kiley Travel Service of Lexington in 1975 following her love of traveling. Over the years, she held various positions in many travel organizations. Regina will be remembered as an upbeat, gracious and loving person. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd, LEXINGTON, Tuesday July 12 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
