Robert Catalano passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 97 in Lexington. Born on September 23, 1927, Robert served in the United States Army for three years, dedicating himself to his country with honor and commitment.

Following his military service, Robert pursued a career as a heavy equipment operator, a role that showcased his strength and skill. Beyond his professional life, he was passionate about fixing cars, building new things, and photography, always eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Known for his humorous nature, Robert loved a good laugh and brought joy to those around him. He is survived by his caregivers, Maxine Auguste and Leeanna Edgar, who provided him with support and companionship in his later years.

A private service will be held to honor Robert's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Italian homes for children, an organization close to Robert's heart.
