Henry, Robert E. of Lexington, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 25, 2023. Beloved son of the late Richard C. Henry and Pauline (Nagle) Henry. Loving father of Nicole W. Henry and her husband Jason Ayala of Lexington and Kathleen F. Henry and her husband Michael Adams of Lexington. Devoted brother of Christine Henry of Lexington, Gail Kelly of Lexington, and the late Richard Henry. Bob is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Mariah, Mason, Jada, Jazin, JoJo, Brady, and James, by 1 niece, Michelle Kelly, and by 1 nephew, Brian Kelly.

Over the course of his lifetime Bob touched so many people's hearts. He succeeded in everything he undertook; from the management of the Troubador in L.A., his carpentry business, drug and alcohol counseling (Hope House to Right Turn), facilities management at Middlesex Humans Service Agency, and most recently, partnering with his son-in-law Jason Ayala in home remodeling (Heights Painting & Carpentry).  Bob's passions ranged from riding his motorcycle across the country to organizing and participating as a drummer for fun bands. His lifework was helping people; HIS power of example affected so many people's pursuit of sobriety. As a single father that raised two daughters, the gift of grandchildren transformed and enriched Bob's life.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Monday January 30 ^th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid church, Lexington at 10am. Visiting hours Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment private.
