Johnson, Robert L., 90, of Winchester, formerly of Lexington, passed away April 19, 2012. Husband of the late Barbara (Wells) Johnson. Father of Linda Bence of New Mexico, Susan Preston of Foxboro, Carol McGrath of Topsfield, Jane Dexter of Woburn, and the late Scott Johnson. Survived also by grandchildren Carolyn Bence, Jess Preston, Kevin McGrath, Amy Preston, Sarah Hagge, Andrew Dexter, Greg Dexter and Brett Dexter, and by several greatgrandchildren. Robert was a well known builder and electrician in the Lexington, Woburn, and Winchester area. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the U.S.S. Bangust. A memorial service will be held Wednesday May 2 at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 535 Main St. in Woburn at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
