Mr. Robert Mocklin, Jr., passed into Gods hands on August 30, 2018, after a battle with pneumonia and ongoing struggles with COPD. Bob was 70 years old and was born in Lewistown, PA. He grew up in Lexington and spent his adult life in Tewksbury. He served in the USAF and upon discharge began a career as a carpenter and a draftsman. He was a gentle soul who enjoyed gardening, playing with his cats and visiting friends in Bayberry retirement home. He was father to Kevin Mocklin and daughter-in-law Gail Mocklin of Mansfield and Julie (Mocklin) Lawrence and son-in-law Noah Lawrence of Seattle, WA. He was grandfather to four boys: Matthew and Joshua Mocklin of Mansfield, and Elias and Simon Lawrence of Seattle. He is survived by his sister Martha (Mocklin) Samuelson and her husband Steve Samuelson and their children Carrie Thompson, Jay Samuelson, and Anne Bergeron. He was previously married and divorced from Marcia (Nichols) Margiotta. Visiting hour will be Thursday September 6th from 10:30- 11:30am with a service at 11:30 at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington, MA 02421. Robert will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Westview Cemetery in Lexington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the MSPCA.
