Palmer, Robert L. of Lexington, July 24, 2023. Beloved son of Joseph B. Palmer and Clara (Reynolds) Palmer of Lexington. Devoted  Brother of  William Palmer, Thomas Palmer, Caroline and husband Stephen Dade, Stephanie and husband Michael Hurley, John and wife Carla Palmer, Marianne Palmer, and the late Richard Palmer and his surviving wife Carol and the late Stephen Palmer and his his surviving wife Julie. He is also survived by 14 loving nieces and nephews and 9 loving great nieces and nephews.

A U.S. Navy Veteran, Bob worked as a Blacksmith in the family Truck Service business. He had a passion for words and language and a deep love of reading and learning . Robert was raised in Lexington and resided in Lowell with his wife Heidi until recently .He was a gentle, sweet, intelligent soul and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him .

A Memorial Service will be held Friday July 28 at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in his memory may be made to the Bedford VA Hospital.
