Taggart, Robert P. of Lexington, March 9, 2021, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of Grace K. (Hefron) Taggart. Loving father of James Taggart (Sharon) of Franklin, Mary Taggart of Billerica, Robert Taggart of Bedford, Timothy Taggart (Heather) of Watertown, Matthew Taggart (Sharon) of Oviedo, FL, Pauline McIver (Kevin) of Arlington, and Brendan Taggart of Watertown. Devoted brother of  the late Mary Villare, surviving brothers and sisters; Victor Taggart, Marilyn Kujala, Madelyn Taggart, William Taggart. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Victoria, Bobby and Christopher Taggart; Matthew and James Taggart; Maura and Emma Taggart; Grace, Kevin, Olivia and Brendan McIver.

A Korean War Veteran, Bob served with the Army Security Agency. He graduated from Boston College in 1958, the same year he married the love of his life, Grace. They moved to Lexington in 1962, where they raised their seven children. He enjoyed spending time golfing with friends at the Lexington Golf Club for many years.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday March 15 at St. Brigid's Church, 1984 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Donations in his memory may be made to the Bedford Veterans Administration. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
