Geissler, Roberta C. (Eagan) of Lexington, October 5, 2017. Wife of the late Chester L. Geissler. Mother of Karen G. Nehlsen and her husband Jim of North Carolina, Chester R. Geissler and his wife Christine of Plymouth, Gary J. Geissler of Lexington, Roberta Geissler of Lexington, and Danielle Alyssa Boudrot of Lexington. Sister of Miriam Marshall of Rochester, NY, and the late Robert Eagan. Roberta is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Corey, Caitlin, and Jenna. Roberta was a woman who had boundless curiosity and lived a self- educated life inspiring all those around her. She was passionate about art, music, history, science, and literature with an unshakeable faith in individual potential, uniqueness, human goodness, and a good jelly doughnut. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Tuesday October 10 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4pm to 7pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Cambridge Family and Children's Service, 60 Gore St. Cambridge, MA 02141. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell.
