Salamy, Ronald A. of Waltham, died peacefully with his wife at his side on October 22, 2021. Beloved husband of Barbara J. Salamy (Bradford).Devoted brother of Henry Salamy and his wife Dorothy of Cary, NC, Gloria O'Brien and her late husband Edward of Bethesda, MD, and Diane Wood and her husband Alden of Westford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Ron graduated from Boston Latin and MIT with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an Electrical Engineer at Raytheon Company for 32 years. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending  many summers with his wife on the beaches in Wells, Maine. He was a cat lover and is survived by his beloved 18 year old cat, Mia.

A private Memorial Service will be held at the Douglass Funeral Home in Lexington followed by interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
