Rosemarie (Robillard) Soderstrom April 27, 1936, to June 2, 2023

An Angel on Earth, that was Rosemarie.  Loving, kind, devoted, non-judgmental and accepting of all, with a smile.  She was a friend and a mother to many.  Rosemarie was raised in Waltham, MA and in 1951 she met the love of her life, Kenton, and spent 71 years with him until his passing in 2022.  When he left the earth, a piece of her left with him.  They were high school sweethearts that fell in love at first sight.  Together they dreamed of getting married, having a family and living happily ever after, which they did.  She was a devoted wife, the best mother anyone could ever have to Lisa, David and Julie, loving grandmother to Ryan, Jaden, Delane, Erik, Isak and Shanti, and great grandmother to her precious Ellie Rose.

In her youth, Rosemarie loved dancing. She was also an amazing singer and devoted many years to St. Brigid's Church in Lexington, MA, singing in the choir, and volunteering at the church rectory.  Midnight mass performances of the Ave Maria were most memorable.  She made sure her kids were all involved at St. Brigid's as well, either in the choir or as her son David was, as an Alter Boy for many years.  It was important to her to instill solid core values into her children; right, wrong, fairness, honesty, and the importance of faith.  She had a subtle sense of humor which came out even during her most challenging times. The day before she died, she made the comment; "when I'm in heaven I am going to rumble again", meaning to dance jitterbug.

Rosemarie struggled with many health issues throughout her life but did not complain nor lose hope.  She always looked forward with positivity, and her husband Kenton was always with her to help her through difficult times.  They had promised each other "till death do us part" on their wedding day, and they stood by that vow.

Rosemarie and Kenton are now together again to begin the next part of their Love Story. At the end, Rosemarie longed for heaven and has now reached her eternal home.

Mom, Nana, Farmor and Great Nana, you will never be forgotten, free to dance and sing again.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Brigid's Church, Lexington, MA on Thursday June 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington MA.
