Ruth Hopwood (Ralph), passed away and entered into eternal life on Sept. 25, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Hopwood. Devoted mother to Donna L. Cole and her husband Stephen of Sunapee, NH, and the late Robert A. Hopwood, Jr. Cherished grandmother to Stephen Cole and his wife Flor, and Tracey Lynch and her husband Daniel. Adored great grandmother to Robby, Charlotte, Hayden, and Cora.

Ruth loved her Jesus and was a faithful Christian. She was active in the Lexington Methodist Church and in later years attended Trinity Covenant Church as health permitted. Next to her Christian Faith, her life was devoted to loving her family unconditionally.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday September 28 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 10am to 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in her memory may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation at bcrf.org.

Interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
