JOSLYN, Ruth M. (MacOdrum) 89, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday November 1, 2013. Born in Boston and raised in Cambridge, MA, Ruth was a long time resident of Lexington. She was the loving mother of Donna Spencer and her husband William of Billerica and Robin Herrmann and her husband Carl of Billerica. Devoted grandmother of Lauren Corbett and her husband Patrick, Evan Spencer and his wife Courtney, and Matthew Herrmann. Proud great-grandmother of Reid Corbett, her shining light. She is also survived by her sister and travel companion, Marjorie Watson of Falmouth, MA, her niece Susan McSweeney of Weymouth, MA, and nephew Glenn Watson of Falmouth, MA. She also leaves her friends and kind caregivers at Billerica Crossings, where she resided for the past year and a half. Retired employee of Lahey Clinic. A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 6 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, at 1:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
