Chisari, Salvatore Samuel passed away on Saturday, August 25th, 2012 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, after a battle against cancer. Sal was born in the Boston area and lived most of his life in Newton, MA. Sal leaves behind his adored wife of 32 years, Tina Chisari, (Piccirilli) whom he loved with all his heart and strength. He also leaves his two beautiful children; his son, Mario Chisari, a man after his father's heart, his wife Sondra and Sal's granddaughter, Vivia Bella, and his daughter, Sandra Lawry, his precious baby girl, her husband Daniel, and Sal's grandson, Eli Arthur all of Newton. Sal was a proud and loving husband and father who cherished every moment with his family and lived life to the fullest. He is the beloved son of Mario and Consolata Chisari and son-in-law of Raffaele and Amalia Piccirilli, both of Newton, who will stand by Tina and the family in comfort and love. His three sisters Anna M. Dourian and her husband David of Watertown, Cettina M. Colomba of Newton and Esther C. Lorusso and her husband Stephen of Weston and many nieces and nephews cherished Sal for his love, kindness, and generosity and many wonderful fishing trips on his boat, SanMarTina, named for his wife and children. In his early years, Sal made his living through his own plastering company and later in life transitioned into Real Estate Management. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, August 28th between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA. The funeral service will be held at Elevation Chapel 150 Lowell Ave, Newton on Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. with a burial service to follow at Newton Cemetery Walnut Street in Newton Center.
