Sarah Pillsbury Harkness of Lexington, MA, daughter of Samuel Hale Pillsbury and Helen Watters Pillsbury, died on May 22,2013 at age 98. Founder of The Architects Collaborative along with husband John C. Harkness, Walter Gropius and five others, mother of seven children, she is survived by John C. Harkness, her children Sara H. Super, Joan Hantz, Nell, Alice, Fred and Jock Harkness, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Date for a memorial service has not yet been set.
