SARALYN K. BICKFORD of Lexington, formerly of Weston and Bridgton, Maine, passed on peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband of 61 years, and their four children. Born on February 25, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of Pauline and Stanley Phillips and raised in Melrose, MA, graduated from the University of Maine in 1947, President of Tri-Delta and honored as an All Maine Woman. She married William in 1949 and raised her family in Weston, was active in women's groups at St. Peter's Church in Weston, Church of Our Redeemer and Hancock UCC in Lexington. She also volunteered in the schools and drama workshops, and later in life worked in Adaptive Housing and gerontology with a focus on arthritis and dementia with which both she and her mother suffered. She is survived by her husband William, her children and their families: Diana Evans of Lexington; Robert Bickford and Vonnie Williams and their children Bailey and Cole of Weston; Paula Bickford and William Ryken of Ruskin Florida; Carol Bickford of Lexington and many loving nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Douglass Funeral Home in Lexington Thursday March 17th from 4-7 PM. There will be a service at Hancock Church in Lexington on Friday March 18th at 10 AM followed by a reception at the church.
