WELLS, Sheila Norma of Lexington passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Richard ("Dick") S. Wells for 45 years and the cherished daughter of Norman and Ruth Hochu. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Wells of Marlborough, her loving son and his wife, Eric and Hallie Wells of Lexington, and her treasured grandchildren, Delaney, Logan, and Devin who love her as "Nannie." She touched the lives of many other wonderful family members and friends.

Sheila was born in 1940 and proudly raised in Fall River, MA.  She went to the College of New Rochelle where she met her beloved lifelong friend, Mary Ellen. She attained her graduate degree at Boston College before teaching high school French in Watertown, MA. She later worked at Data Instruments where she made many wonderful friends. She and Dick started their family in Lexington which became their lifelong home.

Sheila will be remembered by all for her deep faith, wonderful laugh, incredible culinary creations, endless love, and abounding grace. She spread her beautiful spirit and limitless energy through her daily walks around town. Sheila moved through her journey with dementia with grace, gentleness, and grounded in the strength of her spirituality.

Her family is especially grateful for all who gave the gift of themselves to Sheila as she traveled the long road of dementia. We share our profound love and blessed prayers with each one of you.
