LEFEVRE, Sister Marie Cecilia, SGM in Lawrence, formerly of Lexington, March 31, 2016. Daughter of the late Leon Henry Lefevre and Cecilia Adelaide (Ney) Lefevre. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends from AZ, MA, OH and TX who were faithful in visiting her until the end. Born Sept 7, 1917 in Toledo, OH. She made her vows in Religion on August 15, 1939 in Cambridge, MA. Sister Marie's ministries included: Serving as a bookkeeper at St. Peter's Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ for 22 years, was in local and/or provincial Grey Nuns leadership for 7 years, served as Provincial Secretary for 12 years. Sister Marie published several booklets/prayers/articles many of them on the Grey Nuns Foundress St. Marguerite d'Youville and also served as secretary/archivist/editor of newsletter for 21 years for the Grey Nuns and/or Covenant Health.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 6 at Youville Place Chapel, 10 Pelham Rd, Lexington at 12:15pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visitation prior to Mass from 9:30 to 11am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
