Suzanne
Larsen
d. Jun 11, 2025
Suzanne Larsen passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 88. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David; her children, Judith-Anne (Judy), Michael, and Robert; their respective spouses, Todd Quinto, Ayelet Lindenstrauss Larsen, and Deborah Baskin; five grandchildren, Laura Quinto, Ben Larsen, Anne Larsen, Izzy Larsen, and Daniel Larsen; and her sister, Norma Roelke.
Suzanne was born in the Bronx to Michele and David Steinbock. After graduating from the Bronx High School of Science, she attended Radcliffe College, majoring in biochemistry. She married after college and in 1964 moved with her family to Lexington, where she resided for the rest of her life. She received her PhD in clinical psychology at Boston University and continued to see patients up until her sudden death.
Suzanne was an extraordinarily kind, loving, generous, and selfless person. She took great joy in life, even in her last illness. She loved reading, music, cooking, baking, gardening, dogs (especially), and feeding the winter birds. She enjoyed many happy times with friends and family at her vacation home at Lake Wicwas, NH. She cared deeply about her family and friends and was beloved by so many whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday October 5 at 2:00pm at Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available. Please contact the family or visit the Douglass Funeral Home website for details. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Suzanne's memory to Mazon or a charity of your choice.
