Fleming, Theodore D. of Ashby, formerly of Carlisle and Lexington, October 27, 2017. Former husband of the late Arlene (Kneath). Father of Ernest W. Fleming and his wife Sheila of Andover, Brian D. Fleming and his wife Barbara of Chattanooga, TN, and Audrey E. Griffin and her husband Matthew of St. Cloud, FL. Brother of Margaret Reilly of Wenham, Clinton Fleming of Brisbane, Australia, George Fleming of York, ME, and the late Nelson Fleming and Robert Fleming. Ted is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Corinne, Jonathan, Dennis, Ryan, Abigail, and Anthony Joseph, by 2 great grandchildren, Eleanora and Emerson, and by many nieces and nephews. An avid gardener, Ted also loved fishing and playing cribbage. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday November 1 at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St. Lexington at 11am. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Tuesday October 31 from 4pm to 7pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate .
