SULLIVAN, Timothy Francis 95 years, born Nov. 7, 1916 in Lexington, MA to John and Mary Coyne Sullivan, after a brief illness, died Dec. 29, 2011. Husband of the late Eleanor Heaney Sullivan. Attended the Hancock School and graduated Lexington High School 1934. Worked on the family farm in Lexington until joining the U.S. Army. WWII Veteran - Service Company Americal Division in the South Pacific 1941-1945. Upon returning from the Army, Tim worked for the Middlesex and Boston Street Railway, Plymouth and Brockton Transportation, and retired from the MBTA. Proud member Amalgamated Transit Union. Predeceased by his brothers, James, John, Thomas, and sisters Mary Cowdrey and Elizabeth Knapp. Survived by daughter Elaine M. Sullivan of Lexington, dear friend of Lee Wise, and by nieces and nephews and their families. Also survived by his beloved Welsh Spring Spaniel, Katie. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Thursday Jan. 5 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Church, Lexington at 10am.
