CECERE, Ursula W. (Fincher) Of Bedford, September 8, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Anthony E. Cecere. Loving mother of Edward F. and his wife Donna of Westford and the late Bruce A. and his wife Laurie S. of Chelmsford. She is also survived by her grandson, Michael of Salem, MA and his partner, Sharon, his children, Nathaniel, Dylan and Dalila, grandson Shawn of Townsend and his wife, Karen and their children, Trevor and Allie and granddaughter Sheri (Cecere) Flanagan of Ayer and her husband Sean Flanagan and their children, Olivia, Grace and Liam, grandson David of Weston and his wife, Julie and their children Jon and Mason, granddaughter Amanda Sue (Cecere) of Chelmsford and her husband Jon Kanyok.

She was the first born of 9 children to E. U. Fincher and Vasta. She is predeceased by brothers Avis and John and sister Kittie. Her remaining siblings are her sisters, Ernie and Margie and brothers Troy, Bill and Frank.   Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sue grew up on a farm where her parents farmed the land and raised cattle and chickens in Quanah, Texas.
Sue was an amazing homemaker, loved to cook, have family dinners and entertaining friends. She will be remembered by many for being so
stylish and put together. Her first priority was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She worked a night shift when her children were young at Symmes Hospital in Arlington as a switchboard operator.
She later worked for the town of Arlington in the tax department.

She and Tony bought a condo in Boynton Beach, Fl and enjoyed many years there. Their children loved spending school vacations with them
bringing their grandchildren and eventually the grands. They attended the First Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Fl.
Sue took up 3 dimensional art while in Fl and produced many wonderful works of art and loved giving them as gifts to her family.
She also taught this art in her home in MA to a group of friends.

She was a great story teller and loved to share jokes around the family table. She also loved playing games especially Hearts and up
till her 95th year could beat most who played with her.

She and Tony were long time members of Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA. Sue's greatest passion was studying the Bible and did so
throughout her life. She attended the Joy Bible study at Grace for many many years, going up till her 95th year! She began a summer
Bible study in her home when she was 90 and she so loved her dear friends that were in the study.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a devoted Christian and one that they could count on for Biblical answers and for
her prayers.

Her family would like to acknowledge, Angela, Sue's care-giver for all the loving and compassionate care she provided during Sue's
last few years.

Relatives and friends may gather for a visitation at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, MA, on Tuesday, September 12, at 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The New Life Home for Women & Children, 782 River Rd., Manchester, NH 03104. Interment will be private.
