Verna C. Tucker (Crowell), of Surprise Arizona, formerly of Woburn, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021.  She was 90 years old.

Verna was born on June 30, 1931 to the late Frank Warren and Etta Francis Crowell (Ellison).  She was raised in Quincy, MA and raised her own family in North Reading and Woburn, MA.

Verna was the wife of the late Charles William Tucker, and later in life, the partner of the late Dominick D'Amico.  She was the mother of the late Charles "Chuck" Tucker.  She is survived by her three daughters: Gail Veno and her husband Dave of Woburn; Nancy LeBlanc of Arizona; and Phyllis Rhodes and her husband Daniel of Alabama.  She was the loving grandmother of Kevin Veno, Carol Veno, Mark LeBlanc, Matt LeBlanc, Julie Vandiver, and Dan Rhodes.  Verna is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren.

Verna was a dental assistant for many years in Cambridge and Bedford, MA before moving to Arizona upon retirement.  Verna cherished her family, her grandchildren, and all of her great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling, especially her annual trips to Aruba.

A memorial service will be held at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington on Tuesday November 23 ^rd at 10AM. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 9am to 10am. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
