Virginia Rogalski, a woman of quiet strength, kindness, and devotion to her faith and family, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born on October 21, 1935, in Boston's West End, Virginia carried with her a deep appreciation for family, and was an amazing caregiver. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit and the love she shared with those closest to her. She was constantly surprising her family with delicious meals and homemade desserts, which became a cherished expression of her love and care.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Rogalski; her father, Edward Rogalski; and her brother, Richard Rogalski.

Virginia dedicated over 40 years of her professional life as an executive secretary for the telephone company, working in a beautiful office atop the Prudential Building in Boston. She took great pride in her work and the view of the city she loved. She was respected for her professionalism, reliability and grace.

A woman of extraordinary generosity, Virginia gave abundantly and without hesitation to the many charities she supported throughout her life. Her philanthropic spirit touched countless organizations and she was known for her consistent and substantial contributions to causes close to her heart. She believed deeply in helping others and quietly made a very meaningful difference in many lives.

Virginia also enjoyed spending time at her beautiful summer home at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts, a place she cherished deeply. She also treasured her travels around the world with her mother and family members, memories she held close throughout her life.

Virginia is survived by her beloved sister, Constance O'Shea of Lexington; her loving nephew, Christopher O'Shea and his wife, Su, of Lexington; and her devoted niece, Stephanie Boggs and her husband, Marc Boggs, of Lexington. She also leaves behind her cherished great nephews, John Christopher O'Shea and Tynan Alexander Boggs , as well as many other loving family members.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday August 10 at St. Brigid Church, 1984 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the Mass at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 9:30am to 10:45am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
