William Bickford died peacefully at home, surrounded by his four children, Tuesday morning May 30 ^th .  He is survived by his children Diana, Robert, Paula and Carol and his two grandchildren Bailey and Cole.  William was born in Norway Maine in 1923, is a WWII Navy veteran,  and graduate of the University of Maine and Columbia University. He worked at Raytheon until his retirement which he enjoyed with his wife, traveling and discovering a late in life talent for painting and drawing.  The family will host calling hours  June 2 ^nd , from 5 pm – 7 pm  at Douglass Funeral home, 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421.  The funeral service will be held at Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02421 Saturday June 3 ^rd at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations to Hancock Church of Christ will be appreciated, address above.
