Diianni, William A. "Billy" of Lexington, December 25, 2020. Beloved son of the late William D. Diianni and the late Marisa (Facchini) Diianni, devoted brother of Linda M. Diianni and her husband Michael T. Murphy of Nashua, NH and her stepchildren Meghan Leonard, Matthew and Melanie Murphy, loving nephew of Fr. Albert R. Diianni, S.M.

Billy graduated from Boston College in 1995 where studied philosophy and thrived as a rower for the Boston College Crew team. He led a distinguished career as a Technical Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch, in NY City, Wellington Management and Fidelity Investments in Boston. And in 2014 he founded his own consulting firm. A recognized expert in his field with many clients, Billy was a relentless observer of stock market trends. Outside of his business acumen, he was a classical music enthusiast. He loved Mozart, the movie Amadeus, and composed many songs on his mother's piano. He also had a passion for astronomy, playing chess, discussing philosophy with his Uncle Al and many friends, and spending time with family.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, January 6th at St. Brigid Church at 10:00am, 1981 Mass. Ave., Lexington, MA. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a mercy dinner and gathering will take place later in 2021. Flowers can be sent to Douglass Funeral Home, Lexington, MA, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
