Wildes, Rev. William H. of Stuart, FL, formerly of Lexington, MA, passed away at his home October 11, 2010, surrounded by his loving children. Beloved Husband of the late Rita (Benoit) Wildes. Loving Father of William H. Wildes, Jr. (Lynda), Marie Wildes Krevosky (Richard), Katherine E. Wildes, and Nancy Wildes Naughton (William). He was the much loved Papa to ten grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren. He also leaves his brother, Ronald Wildes. Bill was ordained a Permanent Deacon on May 7, 1977 by Cardinal Medeiros at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. He served at St. Brigid Parish in Lexington, MA and St. Christopher's Parish in Hobe Sound, FL. Upon his retirement as President of Buckley Oil Company, he served as Associate Director for the Diaconate Office in Boston for 13 years. A WWII U. S. Army Veteran, Deacon Wildes was a Honarary Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #94, Lexington, MA; Holy Name Society; Rosary Society; and Harvard Musical Association. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday Oct. 16 at St. Brigid Church, 2001 Mass. Ave Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation at the Church prior to Mass from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
